Scripture is Rich!

Our God is rich in the variety of revelation of himself and his choice to do it this way (in history, narrative, law, oracles, laments, praises, proverbs, warnings, apocalypse, etc.) underscores the richness of our dignity as human recipients of this revelation. How tragic that preachers and teachers would devalue the common folks intellectually under the guise of making the Bible more understandable.
