Scripture should not be merely learned...

The study of Scripture can never be complete until one has moved from text to context. The static study of the original meaning of a text dare never be an end in itself but must at all times have as its goal the dynamic application of the text to one’s current needs and the sharing of that text with others via expository teaching and preaching.  Scripture should not merely be learned; it must be believed and then proclaimed.
